The maple leaf, celebrated for its vibrant autumn hues and natural elegance, is beautifully represented in this small copper pendant with tendrils. Sized for shorter necklaces of 18 inches or less, this mixed-metal piece is crafted from pure copper, with brass tendrils adding a unique flair to the design. The leaf's rich red patina, achieved through torch firing, is sealed with lacquer to preserve its color. The texture is created with hand stamping, and the leaf's form is shaped using the repoussé technique, where the metal is lifted from the reverse side.
