What is an Amber Teething Necklace?

Amber teething necklaces are designed to be worn by little ones when they are teething. It is believed that when the body heats the amber, it releases succinic acid and allows it to be absorbed.  Succinic acid is thought to be a natural aide in being anti-inflammatory,  immune boosting, antioxidant rich and calming/soothing.

Amber Teething Necklaces are NOT meant to be chewed or gummed on!

How to PROPERLY use an Amber Teething Necklace?

• Choose an appropriate size for your child.  Our necklaces are 12" in length.
• Necklace should not be too tight around the neck but also should not be too loose.  The necklace should be short enough so the child is NOT able to place the necklace in their mouth!
• Allow the necklace to lay directly on the skin
• Remove necklace during naps and at bedtime
• NEVER allow a baby to wear a necklace unsupervised!

Are our Amber Necklaces made of Genuine Amber?

Our necklaces are made of Genuine Amber.  The Amber is sourced from the Baltic Sea region in Lithuania.  We work with a company in Palanga, Lithuania where the necklaces are made.  Palanga and surrounding region is famous for amber processing traditions.  Several generations of local craftsmen hold the techniques and subtlety of amber jewelry manufacturing.
